I Can Cook Too is from Leonard Bernstein's 1944 musical, On The Town.

 

This arrangement features lots of unison writing and limited brass range.  (Trumpets up to a D, trombones to a C)

The solo section simply utilizes one pentatonic scale which is written in all wind parts.

​

The sax writing features a short section of 5-part harmony to allow students to get that sound in their ear.
