One Mint Julep is modeled after the Ray Charles performance of the jazz standard.

It features fully notated Ray Charles-esque piano licks and optional parts for two guitarists.

​

The arrangement utilizes a font where the beams extend over the rests.  That may be a first for young musicians, but, as a learning tool, it will help to shape the musicians' sense of syncopation at the 16th note level.
